David Greene is a trial attorney specializing in Criminal Justice and Civil litigation.
He was recently named a Super Lawyers Rising Star again in 2017, an award only given to 2.5% of practicing attorneys in Los Angeles under the age of 40. In addition to complex civil litigation matters (representing individuals and publicly traded companies), David handles criminal matters with a focus DUI and drug offenses. Over the past 5 years David has handled thousands of cases in the Los Angeles courts, including cases against citizens, landlords / property owners and businesses.
David began his legal career in the music business. In 2011 he found himself as a legal extern at Warner Brother Records' Rhino Record's Legal and Business Affairs department where, in addition to working on the Grateful Dead reissue project, he handled thousands of contracts for all of Warner’s labels and joint ventures. In 2013, after passing the California Bar Exam on his first attempt, Mr. Greene was tapped by Universal Music Group’s business and legal affairs to be on a team of attorneys handling the One True Form contract.
Mr. Greene is licensed to practice in California, and is active in the Southern California legal community as a member of multiple criminal and civil law associations. David Greene received his undergraduate degree from Emerson College in Boston Massachusetts, and his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School, where he took part in the two-year accelerated Scale program.
